from what i seen most couples who go through this swinging thing end up having divorce or break up in a year or two.
and majority of them i mean 99.9% of them break up soon.
as my friends are in the medical field and they tell me these things when we all meet up almost everyday, we sometimes discuss our patients cases etc.

and 80% of them have STD(sexually transmitted diseases) those are young couples.
most of the young couples are into this rave party thing , and do drugs like lsd, amphetamine and indulge in sex without protection and end up having STD.
As i came to know from them it's more of a orgy rather than swapping.
sometimes swapping does occur.

and this trend is mostly seen in people who work in MNC's( 95% of them)
and most of the divorces after these episode happen in the MNC's.

of course, people that get involved in rave party and drugs ....add to it unprotected sex ...will be in for trouble. ppeople like that end up with std and divorces.
